Cream + Plaid

It's finally starting to feel like winter! While I can't say the cold weather is my favorite--I am a huge fan of comfy blanket scarves and oversize sweaters.

Not only are sweaters and scarves super comfy, but they can also look nice! I love to wear mine to work on a cold day and pair them with dressier black jeans and some booties.

This year I've really been loving my cable-knit cream sweater from Old Navy. I was unsure about the color since I generally stick to navy and black, but it's a great contrast to my dark jeans and a perfect canvas for a bright scarf.

I've had this blanket scarf for a couple of years now and it's hands-down my favorite! The color is so bright and festive and it's beyond warm and cozy. I also love that I can use it more like a wrap at work if I get chilly. Honestly, I can't remember where I got this one, but they have a nearly identical one at Urban Outfitters.

I finished off this outfit with beige booties. I have a standing desk at work, so my shoes need to my comfortable to stand in all day. These booties from Banana Republic definitely fit the bill. Plus, they're so versatile! I love that I can pair them with dress pants, jeans, and even dresses.
